Water for South Sudan delivers direct, transformative and sustainable quality-of-life service to the people of South Sudan by efficiently providing access to clean, safe water and improving hygiene and sanitation practices in areas of great need. We are committed to sustainable growth, continuously seeking ways to drive progress, and our interactions and services are delivered with warmth, sincerity, and compassion. We leverage our existing resources and partnerships to maximize our impact, and our collaborative approach multiplies the results in the communities we serve. WFSS has drilled more than 450 water wells since 2005 and provides hygiene education training in every village we serve. Our focus on sustainability led us to develop our well rehabilitation team in 2017, which has repaired more than 167 of our oldest wells. In 2018, we launched our pilot sanitation program, installing a latrine (toilet facility) at the Zogolona Primary School in Wau.
