Founded in 1889, the Tampa YMCA is the oldest human services organization in Hillsborough County and a leader in providing innovative programs to build health in spirit, mind and body. The Tampa YMCA serves more than 140,000 people annually with an array of services, including child care, parent-child programs, teen development, summer programs, youth educational/employment programs, foster care, family resource centers and wellness programs for all ages and abilities. Facilities and programs include nine full service family centers, six express wellness facilities, an outdoor adventure camp, two The First Tee of Tampa sites, five program sites, 37 Success After School sites and more than 100 collaborative partners in nine project initiatives.
