Museum at Eldridge Street

The Museum at Eldridge Street, a non-sectarian cultural organization based in the National Historic Landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue, presents the culture, history and traditions of the great wave of Jewish immigrants to the Lower East Side drawing parallels with the diverse cultural communities that have settled in America. Our programs also share the story of Lower East Side immigration and, as reflected in our landmark site, architectural preservation. Historic building tours, concerts, lectures, K-12 and Adult Education courses, family programs, festivals such as the popular Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Festival, attract more than 40,000 people each year. Tours are offered Sundays - Thursdays from 10 am - 5 pm and on Fridays from 10 am - 3 pm. Pay what you wish on Mondays and group rates available.
