Humane Society of Sonoma County

The Humane Society of Sonoma County, founded in 1931, is a nationally recognized charitable organization that serves animals and people throughout Sonoma County. Donations from individuals, businesses and foundations who share our commitment to the animals and to the quality of life in our community make our services and programs possible. We work to provide quality care and a safe haven to our companion animals, to find each animal a loving home and to provide education and outreach to better the lives of people and their pets. Annually, we provide shelter and medical care for over 6,000 homeless, abused and stray animals as well as 1,800 spay and neuters through our shelter veterinary clinic.
