Concern America is a globally focused organization that provides long-term solutions to support economically impoverished communities throughout the world. Concern America trains and accompanies community members in health, sanitation, education, income-generation, etc., so the villagers themselves become the health care providers, water system builders, educators, and cooperative business members. This approach maximizes local resources, saves and sustains lives, and builds community and civil society in remote, war-torn regions that lack these services. Since its establishment in 1972, Concern America has worked in fifteen countries on four continents, making a measurable difference in the lives of over two million people in thousands of communities.
