ChildFund International

Founded in 1938, ChildFund International works to connect children living in poverty worldwide with the people, resources and institutions they need to grow up healthy, educated, skilled and safe. Delivered through 240 local implementing partner organizations, our programs address the underlying conditions that keep any child from achieving their potential. We emphasize child protection because violence, exploitation, abuse and neglect can reverse developmental gains in an instant. Last year, we reached 13 million children and family members in 24 countries. ChildFund's mission is to help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children have the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change in their communities; to promote societies whose individuals and institutions value, protect and advance the worth and rights of children; and to enrich supporters' lives through their engagement with us.
