Boston Children's Chorus

Boston Children's Chorus was founded in 2003 by social worker Hubie Jones on the belief that choral singing could be a powerful force for social inclusion and community building. BCC aims to address existing inequities and to correct cultural stereotypes, proactively building positive narratives around the lived experience, history, and culture of people of color in Boston. Students learn to read and interpret music, actively listen, apply self-reflection, and interact with differing views with empathy.
