The mission of Arizona Science Center is to inspire, educate and engage curious minds through science. First opening in 1984, the Center features four floors of interactive galleries, 300+ hands-on exhibits, world-renowned traveling exhibitions, live demonstrations, a state-of-the-art giant screen theater, a planetarium, and a makerspace, drawing more than 500,000 visitors annually. Beyond our onsite offerings, the Center serves more than 200,000 students and teachers each year with engaging STEM education programs including Focused Field Trips, Science on Wheels, Girls in STEM, Camp Innovation, CREATE U, and many more.
